We are accepting all kids up to the age of 10 and will be accepting photos until 8pm on December 17th. We will announce our winners on Monday, December 21st, 2020 and drop off their prize! Santa Claus is coming to town! We wanted this holiday season to be extra special for our little ones. That is why we have personally invited Santa Claus to our Country Christmas Drive-Thru! We, at Country Heritage Park, recognize that these are unusual times and 2020 as a whole has not lived up to anyone’s expectations. These times have been difficult for all of us and we understand that you have had to make, and continue to make, sacrifices through social distancing, self-isolating, cancelling of holidays and celebrations, and adapting to the new norm of a COVID-19 world. But that doesn’t mean that this holiday needs to be disregarded - Christmas spirit is... needed now more than ever. The ability to give to others when so much seems dire; to put a smile on the face of that one youngster seeking Santa Claus - that is the spirit that Country Heritage Park wants to return to our community. We are giving back to those who need it most - to families wanting a Christmas distraction, and showing that Christmas is alive and thriving in the bleakest of times, when we all need it most. It was this spirit of renewal, of hope, of dreams that may come true, that sparked the idea of Country Heritage Park’s first ever Country Christmas Drive-Thru - a family-friendly, Christmas drive-thru light show, that allows individuals to enjoy the displays from the comfort of their own vehicle. While safe, in the context of all the new regulations, we also know that it is not enough. Our children need that one outlet that Christmas provides - the chance to get their letters to the North Pole before Christmas time. That is why we are encouraging all to bring their written letters to Santa, so we can assist in getting them to the North Pole quicker than ever! This time of year is about family, friends, and the grace, hope and love of strangers. This will not make COVID go away, and it won’t heal the hurt of not seeing people who you are desperately wanting to hold and hug. We do know that it will provide a smile to the faces of those who need it most in our community, even if only briefly.
