Well..I had a phone call from Parkside ... Clarence and Dawn are coming out tomorrow!! Rodney Crowell sang a song called "You Can't Stop a Woman When She's Out ...of Control!" There will be three of us out of control types tomorrow ...Lynn Tunstall, Jaye D Marie and yours truly! - we intend on making the best of a cool country music concert situation! Showtime is 2:30 pm. I am looking forward to the concert with Barfly on Sunday! The band is top notch - they sure know how to play the songs we love to hear! They played this song by the Desert Rose Band...what a toe tapper and finger snapper it is! Yeehaw! Let the good times roll! Concert starts at 2:30pm!

Well - we aren't finished yet! I asked for a show of hands as to how many thought I should keep the concerts going through October- the majority were in favor! We had so much fun yesterday I hardly felt all my sore muscles from putting up the tarps! Even Evan Swalm left his drums to come out and demonstrate a joke! What is it about this place that brings out the best in people?? Thank you Lori Bischler - she's been selling tickets and serving spudnuts since the concerts sta...rted. A big thankyou to Boyd Faulconer (Wolf in a previous life), Evan Swalm, Lynn Tunstall, C.g. Smith, Jaye D Marie ...the old maid from Grinders Switch! Funny - I just told Candace Kaminski that the concerts would keep on going - she said she already heard it from a couple who were here while working at the bank in Melfort! One more tarp to put up... there are two church pews containing old songbooks...there are about 50 spudnuts...and a hillbilly gal who is sad the season is over!
