2 DAYS BEFORE XMAS - We are open today till 7:00. Our hours tomorrow will be 10:00 - 3:00. Next week we will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, December 29, 30, & 31, from 11:00 - 6:00. Labour Day Weekend This year we will be closing for the weekend, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, re-opening on Tuesday, September 8th. We still have lots of local fruits and vegetables available, with Ontario apples still to come. And we are still making fresh fruit pies every Tuesday and Thursday. A BIT OF NEWS. This week we were able to go to Barrie's Asparagus Farm. We finally have their fresh, pesticide free asparagus for sale. Along with the asparagus we are now well stocked in their delicious jarred pickles: bread and butter, baby dills, spicy diced or whole asparagus, and green beans, as well as their antipasto and fire roasted red pepper and asparagus dipping sauce. And for potato chip lovers, we came back with several cases of Spud's Finest Kettle Chips. With t...he change of seasons, we've also made some changes to what we're making in our kitchens. We are back to making vegetarian quiches on Tuesdays, and pizza every day, as well as having four fresh salads to choose from in our cooler. We have more time for baking; sweet loaves and fruit pies, strawberry rhubarb at the moment, are available most days. Regarding the pandemic, we are maintaining all of the health and safety measures that have been in place for the last two months. We have however, extended our in-store shopping hours to 5:00, Tuesday through Saturday. We are still doing pre-orders and pick-up orders, throughout the day, and between 4:30 and 6:00, for larger orders. Please feel free to call the store with any questions or to place an order. A little late but here's a Mother's Day gift I received that I'd like to share. So, to all our mothers past, present and future....

Mother's Day & other matters We will, to our great regret, be closed on the official Mother's Day. A double regret for us as it will also be our 10th Anniversary. We will still have some special treats to pick up but we make this promise: when this thing blows over, we will have a party, a real party, to thank you for the support throughout the years.
