Early on Friday January 11, 2019, Ronni Dingwall passed away. It will be some time before she finishes greeting all of the animals who are waiting at Rainbow Bridge to reciprocate her love before she passes through the gates of heaven. If Ronni's life was measured in compassionate moments it would be off the scale. Court Animal hospital had the pleasure of having Ronni work at the front desk for 3 years. During that time, thousands of non-human beings walked through the fro...nt door and every one of them was greeted with a bottomless pit of loving, caring, and compassion. That bottomless pit was tagged with the name of Ronni Dingwall, and she had a kindness and a loving that was SO BIG, that it is likely to never be matched in any one of our lifetimes. For Ronni, working at Court Animal Hospital was not a job, but a calling. A calling of compassion that never failed, no matter how ugly, smelly, dirty, old, mean, or lost, the non-human life was. We will miss her terrribly and we will courageously and endlessly attempt to fill the void that is left with her passing. Ronni we love you and we will make efforts every day to follow in your footsteps. But, how does anyone even begin to fill the footsteps that you leave behind? It will take a village of individuals that will constantly, repeatedly remind each other of Ronni's love. And, as a daily reminder we have created "Ronni's Fund," to take care of all the little things that walk through our doors and into our lives.
