Hey, parents! School is about to start, and many of you may choose remote learning. Let me just say, as someone who has been teaching that way for the past two months, it's more than alright; I've been really impressed by how the BC government has arranged the class material and of how well the kids have adjusted. Of course, it isn't always ideal for the little ones, but your teenagers have been doing an incredible job. I've been consistently impressed by their ability to... adjust. Kids are so tech-savvy - more so than I! That being said, it's not quite the same. I'm used to teaching my own methods, but I could usually give more individual attention than is possible these days. I'm sure that other teachers feel the same, as the amount of one-on-one time is less than before - when you talk to one child, you talk to all. I also believe that moms and dads may be feeling overwhelmed with the sheer amount of change. As such, some of you may be looking for a little extra help for your child. This is a strange transition, but I have you covered when it comes to essays. Essays are what I do. I literally wrote a book about writing them and would love to lend a hand. With the help of a professional videographer, I've created an online video course for middle and high school students who are looking to write literary essays for their English classes. My course covers literally everything that I'd love to teach every day, only your child can study it at his/her/their own time.
