Easter candy-grams are HERE! These sweet little bags make me SO happy and brings back so many memories of support from this community in a very scary time - March 2020! We had 700 of these made this time last year as we were getting ready to be a vendor at the local @modern.makers.market.ptbo Spring Market. I returned from Europe March 11, 2020 and the whole world shut down two days later. ... We had SO much Easter inventory that we were planning to sell and nowhere to go with it and it didn’t take us more than a minute to know that we needed to get these in the hands of our local @ptboparamedics and #essentialworkers who were working the front lines of this pandemic to let them know in a small way we were thinking of them and that they truly were our local #heroes. We had management handing these out to local paramedics, we left them at the door for delivery drivers, gave them to the grocery store clerks, and to the police at the end of the driveway who are always there for speed traps It was such a scary time and we were so worried of people we knew who were out there working in this what we now know as a new reality. So needless to say these little candy-grams are so special to us because it was a little bit of sweetness in those first very scary weeks of COVID-19. Now we have them in our beautiful sweet shop in @downtownptbo and on our website online for our amazing community of customers who have supported us through our first Easter as a business (that very 2020 year!) right through to this Easter 2021. All of these varieties are sourced from a Canadian company and we have had them packaged in a reseable stand up bag with out bright and fun branding on the front.
