In the gospel God has revealed to us the great mystery of salvation, the only hope of glory - which is Christ dwelling in you. Do you know Jesus Christ's presence in you? Is He alone your hope of glory?

Do you know the certain hope of glory? In other words, do you know Jesus Christ and has he come to dwell in your heart? Christ alone is the hope of glory. Join us at 10 AM tomorrow to hear of this hope as the Word is preached from Colossians 1:24-29. The Christian life includes both sorrow for sin and rejoicing over grace in Christ. But Scripture teaches that the Christian rejoicing must always overtake sorrow - misery must give way to gratitude because of Christ's deliverance. Do you know the joy of having your sins forgiven and of walking in communion with God?

Today is the day of the Lord - let us rejoice and worship Him! All are invited to come to Covenanters for public worship morning and afternoon. At 10 AM we will hear from Colossians 1:18-20 about Christ as the preeminent One over the new creation, reconciling us to God.... At 4:30 PM we will consider the centrality of the Word in revival from Nehemiah 8. Join us in person or online

All people have been estranged from God because of their sin. Only Christ can reconcile you to God and make you holy, blameless, and without reproach. Do you know his saving work in your life?

Why are there long lists of names and numbers in the Bible like in Nehemiah 7? And why would they be repeated since they were already in Ezra 2? Lest we forget God's faithfulness to his covenant people! And so you would remember that the God who cared for His Church in the past is the same God who cares for His Church today and who will never stop caring for His Church!

All of creation needs to be reconciled to God. You need to be reconciled to God. Are you? Join us tomorrow at 10 AM for worship and to hear more of the marvelous work of reconciliation carried out by Jesus Christ. And join us again at 4:30 PM where we will again worship our God and consider from Nehemiah 8 how the Word of God should stir us both to sorrow and rejoice! There is no chaos with Christ in control - what an encouragement for God's people to know that Christ has pre-eminence over all creation. He made all things, he sustains all things, and he is bringing all things to a perfect end: his own glory.

What is the biblical response to unbiblical injustice? How should the church respond? Nehemiah's response to unbiblical injustice in Nehemiah 5 is both a picture of Christ's work and a lesson for Christ's church to follow today

A real hunger for the Word of God is what begins a real revival in the church and flowing out of the church. The Holy Spirit speaks and works through the Word of God, not apart from it. Do you have a hunger for the Word of God?

Thanksgiving Day was yesterday. We have so many things to be thankful for, generously given by our heavenly Father. How thankful are you for the work God is doing in others? For the fruit He is producing in them? Even when it doesn't directly benefit you... Learn from Paul's own thankfulness, expressed in Colossians 1:3-6

Christ's Church always has a target on her back - this is the way of the Christian life in a fallen world. What must you do as a believer? Press on without distraction in the work Christ calls you to do, committing yourself and your enemies to His almighty hand.

Tomorrow at Covenanters we will hear two timely messages from the timeless Word of God At 10 AM from Colossians 1 - being thankful to God for His work in our brothers and sisters in Christ At 4:30 PM from Nehemiah 5 - what is a biblical response to unbiblical injustice? ... The essence of the Christian life is to know the will of God and then to put that knowledge into practice through the power of God. The goal: to live a life that is pleasing to God! How much do you pray for this to be true of you? Are you walking worthy of the Lord?

Nehemiah 4 is a vivid picture of the Christian life in this world - building up the church with the trowel and defending the church with the sword, doing all with faith in the God of heaven. The Church of Christ must be both vigilant and diligent in her work, always trusting her King to make her work effective.

Everyone needs the grace and peace of God in their life. It has been earned by Christ and is freely offered in the gospel. Do you know the grace and peace of God in your life?

Tomorrow morning at Covenanters we begin a new series in the book of Colossians - beginning with a greeting of grace and peace to the people of God. In the afternoon service we will continue our study in Nehemiah! Join us and be fed by the Word at 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM

What a wonder that we can have access to a holy God! How is it possible? Consider David's prophetic look at Christ's ascension work from Psalm 24: we can enter into God's presence only because Jesus Christ, the King of Glory, has opened the way for us.

Tomorrow in public worship at Covenanters we will spend time in the Book of Psalms! In the AM service at 10 AM we will hear the call from Psalm 146 to put our trust in the LORD, not in princes who perish. This is a needed message in our world of uncertainty, fear, and misplaced trust. At 4:30 PM, we will consider our access to God through Jesus Christ, the King of Glory from Psalm 24. How can sinners approach a holy God? Only through Jesus Christ who has opened the way!... All are welcome to join us in person. The services will also be livestreamed at the link below

At 4:30 PM, from Nehemiah 4, we will consider opposition to the Lord's work and how the church should respond in faith.... All are welcome. Last Sunday afternoon we gathered on the front lawn of Covenanters and hosted an outdoor worship service! It was wonderful to welcome the many neighbours and friends God brought to worship with us. In these pandemic days, what a joy to come together and hear of Christ, the Bread of Life. Only in Him will you find satisfaction and security for body and soul!
