The Nelson Innovation Centre is open! This project has been a wonderful community project to get to work on, and right across the street from our office! It will be a great asset to have and we’re going to take advantage of the great perks of the membership https://www.nelsonstar.com//nelson-innovation-centre-open/ https://nelsoninnovationcentre.com/

This is a really important project in Nelson that we’ve been working on, which is now breaking ground. Affordable housing within the city limits is a rare occurrence, and this will add 39 - 1 bedroom units right in the walkable downtown core. Renderings to follow soon

We are so stoked to see the CLT stage under construction at Cottonwood Park! Props to the City of Nelson, the Nelson Izu-shi Friendship Society and the Eco Society for pulling through on this. Props to Effistruc Consulting for structural Engineering, Spearhead for steel and connection detailing and Shasheen Machine for steel fabrication. Props to North Mountain Construction and Jay Mckimm of Bluewater timber framing for a stellar construction job. Can't wait to see some shows!

Cover Architecture has closed the office to the public. However we are still operating at full capacity. All our staff have been asked to work from home. We will be available by email, or cell phone. If you leave a message on our phone system, we will get it as an audio email attachment and call you back. Until the official governmental advisories change, all meetings will be held digitally, unless absolutely critical. Please do your part to slow the rate of infection by staying home and staying safe.
