HAPPY RETIREMENT LINDA!!! It is bittersweet that we make this post, though all of us at Cowan Heights Dental wish Linda every happiness at this new stage of her life. Linda has been a loyal and dedicated administrative assistant for Dr. Batten’s and our clinic for 24 years! She has care for and treated patients with kindness and attention for all these years. She knew most of your schedules and when you able to come. If our patients called and needed to get in, she made it happen. I know Linda miss all our as much as you’ll miss her! Please help us wish her well on her retirement!! We’re going to miss you Linda!!

Hello to all our beautiful patients!! We are hoping that in just ONE WEEK, we will be able to open our doors again and see you all. Of course, with the times we are living in, things will have to be done a little differently. At Cowan Heights Dental, we have went above and beyond to make sure you feel safe at your next visit, as well as our staff who are eager to get back to work. This week, we will highlight one thing each day that will be different when you visit or how... your next visit may look. Today, we want to start with the basics - the air around you. We know that COVID as well as many other illnesses can be represented as airborne particles. We have installed an air filtration system called ActivePure. Scientific data shows this is the most powerful air and surface purification technology EVER discovered - approximately 99.9999% efficient - WOW. It releases oxides into the air that kill bacteria, as well as other harmful elements shown in the photos below. We have two main units installed in our clinic, as well as one smaller unit in every operatory. We feel that even with all the extra things in place, this is the cherry on the cake. INVISALIGN PATIENTS and COVID-19: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Crisis, we are unable to open our clinic for regular dental appointments. Please be sure you are practicing good hand washing when removing/inserting your aligners, and when cleaning them. ... Continue to wear your aligners for 22 hr/day. Keep old aligners! If you happen to lose or break your aligner, go back to the previous one until we can see you. If you lose an attachment, this will be replaced at your next visit. If you have any questions during your Invisalign treatment during this time, please call us! We are checking our voicemail daily and are happy to address any concerns.

Happy Oral Health Month! Today marks the start of April Oral Health Month for 2020! We didn’t expect to be kicking off this month in the middle of a Global Pandemic, but we are all in this together and will get past this! Although our patients are currently missing their regular dental exams and cleanings for now, we hope you are doing everything you can to maintain good oral health at home.
