The Duncan Train Station is in need of some expensive preservation measures, such as roof repairs, new windows, painting and more. This building has been a centre for community since it was constructed in 1912. In this photo, a group of volunteers undertake repairs c. 1980. If you can help, please go to the CanadaHelps link on our website www.cowichanvalleymuseum.bc.ca. Thank you for your support!

Help us meet our fundraising goal of $20,000 for the Preservation of the Duncan Train Station! The goal of the Cowichan Historical Society is to make the old train station shine. As part of a multi-phase project, tasks such as repairs, painting, window upgrades, and repairs to the roof will ensure that this landmark heritage building - home of the Cowichan Valley Museum & Archives - will be here for many years to come. You can donate through CanadaHelps with a link on our website www.cowichanvalleymuseum.bc.ca Thank you for your support!
