Capitals Complete Trade With Portage Terriers Joey Moffatt from the hometown of Portage la Prairie, MB The Cowichan Capitals have completed a trade with the P...ortage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) for future considerations. Coming to the Capitals is 2001 born, Joey Moffatt. The 5'11" 180lb right shot forward joins the Capitals after tallying 26 goals and 42 assists for 68 points in 60 games played this 2019-20 season with the Portage Terriers of the MJHL. His ded...ication and commitment to the Capitals organization remained steadfast throughout his entire difficult battle until the end. Gerry was one of the very few important members of our volunteer staff allowed to attend our pre-season games during this 2020-21 season and run our on-line statistics program for all October games. Gerry showed this same level of selfless dedication in all areas of his life but none more so than as a loving father and husband. Gerry's wife Karen and daughter Lisa are also dedicated members of our Capitals Volunteer family and now they need your help. Please find it in your hearts to support our family members during this tremendously difficult time in their lives. On behalf of your Capitals Organization, we thank you for your donations.
