Registration cheques are going to the bank Friday morning the 7th of August. For those that opted to E transfer fees they are also due Friday E transfer to [email protected].

FYI 1st round of tryouts this season will be Sept 8-12, enjoy your summer!!

Tryout fees of $100.00 are due July 30th, cheques are going to the bank, E transfers are being accepted anytime.

2019/20 Cowichan Valley Minor Hockey Association AGM Monday July 6th 7:00pm Duncan Curling Rink, Sherman Rd. Doors open at 6:30pm.... Please RSVP your intent to attend this meeting and request a meeting PKG including Agenda emailed to you. There will be no meeting pkg. available the at this meeting. Please note, there will be NO discussion of the Return to Hockey in the Fall at this meeting. CVMHA is working hard on the Return to Play guidelines, and have formed a committee, that is working with our governing bodies and our 2 arenas. WE will update the membership when we know more. We are optimistic as we enter Stage 3 that we will be on the ice this Fall.

CVMHA will hold their AGM, July 6th, we are just confirming the venue and will update this post. The Agenda will be posted by Friday.

1) Most rinks are not open and when they do open it will not all be at the same time. *League schedules cannot be planned or created until enough ice is made available 2) Team Travel and Accommodations may not be permitted for a long time - the season and the type of play may look alot different - especially for competitive teams who belong in leagues that require travel in order play. 3) The focus of the organization you are registering with should be the safety of your chil...d. They should be as transparent and honest as possible on where the return to hockey is actually at. 4) Given the current crisis things can change quickly. It is still important to register with your local Association so that they know how many participants they will have 5) We are all bound by Health Authority guidelines and currently those guidelines do not list specific dates. We are all working diligently to be ready for what will be a step by step return. A link to some Return to Hockey Info is listed here. It's important to remember this is what the return MAY look like. Its intended to help Associations in their preparations. Our local District MHA's will be receiving more helpful details on the return to Hockey within the next 2 days from VIAHA. Thank you
