If you love a good steak and believe in the Dream Centre, this post is for you! Cows for a Cause is a new program and partner of ours that wants to connect you... with some of the best beef in Alberta, while also filling plates at the Dream Centre. How? There are cows raised in a program seeking to increase the quality of Alberta beef, and every two weeks fresh meat is processed and needs a home. With the purchase of either a quarter cow, half cow, or full cow, the prime cuts go to you and we get the rest! Each purchase provides hundreds of meals for people overcoming homelessness and addiction. To give you an idea, all of the boxes in this photo came to us from the purchase of only HALF a cow, which will provide protein for 600 MEALS!
