JUST GO ENTER You’re not going to get better from the stands The rodeo world is intimidating. There are phenomenal Hands out there in that arena that are far ...better than most. However, they all started where you many be now. They were once the rookie, the unfamiliar face mounted on an unfamiliar steed. They were once the one standing in the corner alone while the other competitors were grouped up laughing and awaiting their turn. Are you as good as they are? Probably not. But you know who you are better than? Those that didn’t enter because they are too afraid to try. My daughter did a clinic with Kelsey Chase and I will never forget what she said, Just go enter. You’re not going to get better unless you start entering. I repeat this constantly to my daughter, Remember what Kelsey said. Don’t be embarrassed. If someone laughs at you, that’s their own insecurity. I guarantee there will be more people that will help you than ridicule you. There are so many willing to lend a hand and help you as long as you are willing to put in the effort. You can’t get better from the stands. Go grow. Enter up, even if it’s just a learning experience. Every great Roper has thrown their loop in the dirt. Every great Barrel Racer has broken the pattern. We have had some stellar horse power through our facility over the years and even with the uncertainty this year brought it has been no exception. Here is another spotlight on an incredible equine athlete. We had the pleasure of having April Williamson's outstanding mare Waveonthewayby (Waves), with us this winter after a great year of rodeos. She quickly became a favourite of ours in the barn and LOVED the AquaPacer. Some Honorable mentions on her resume include the SK Bree...ders Barrel Bonanza Champion & Open Short Go Champion, Canadian Barrel Futurities High Point Futurity Champion, MRCA Finals go round winner, 2020 True Grit Derby 1st go winner, reserve champion Twisted Sisters Slot Race, 2020 SK Breeders Barrel Bonanza fast time. Waves really is a special mare who has shown she can take you to the winners circle. This past month April handed over Waves reins to our sponsored rider Krystal Grad who had a great weekend on her at the Twisted Sisters Slot Race and the SK Breeders Barrel Bonanza. See more

This team has been on fire all year and have laid down some incredible runs. Some big wins to mention, Prestige Slot Race Champion, clean sweep of the Big Bang, winning the warm up jackpot, both gos of the Derby and the open, along with the Derby and Open average, and most recently the Twisted Sisters Slot Race Champion. We are so proud of our sponsored rider Krystal Grad and CeCe for all they have accomplished so far and can't wait to see what they do the rest of the season....
