New pieces on my site! Check them out at www.cozycupspottery.com I've been meaning to do a significant update since I first launched my site on July 17th. It wasn't quite the way I wanted it then, but I knew I kept waiting until I was absolutely satisfied with how it looked that I likely never would have published it. I added weight and dimensions for each piece, so now you'll have a better idea of how big or small they are.... #perfectionismproblems #potterywheelthrowing #handmadepottery #ennismoreontario #peterboroughontario #lakefieldontario #wearethecreativeeconomy #kawarthas #localmakers #smallbusinesslove

My sister was the very first person to purchase a mug from Cozy Cups! This is a photo she took while drinking her first ever cup of coffee in it. ... She said she loves the size because she can't put way too much coffee in it. She said the handle could use some work though, so going forward I'll remember to test the feel of the handle before bisque firing. Thanks for the input Carmelle

New succulent planter! I made this so I could fill up the kiln and do a fire more quickly than I usually would. I am happy with how it turned out. ... I've been feeling not so great for the past couple weeks but I had a nice long chat with my sister yesterday and now I'm feeling reenergized. She helped me put some things into perspective #potterywheelthrowing #softblue #madewithlove #canadiansmallbusiness #potterylove @ Cozy Cups Pottery

And as a kick start we would like to include our starter kit free of charge. We'll be posting again on Wednesday with more details! @ Cozy Cups Pottery

Follown @cozycupspottery for weekly content. I picked up my new tools on June 26th! They have been incredibly helpful to keep things looking smooth and even. I have cut my trimming time in half since I upgraded from using kitchen knives I am happy that I spent the time struggling with home made tools because now I can appreciate the higher quality ones much more.... #usewhatyouhave #mudtools #kempertools #tuckerspotterysupply #

Follow me @cozycupspottery for weekly content. These are a couple of the slab mugs I did a few days ago. They are rough and raw looking. Let me know if you like the aesthetic

A good book is key on a firing day. I finished the final trimmings this morning, and loaded everything up! I tested out my slab skills yesterday as well so we'll see how they turned out after their first firing. The reason for the book is I have to keep myself entertained while I watch over the kiln for approximately 7 hours. I get to flip switches on and off, to make sure everything goes smoothly. The joys of having a manual kiln.... #manualkiln #handthrownpottery #slab #cozyvibes #fingerscrossednothinggoespop @ Cozy Cups Pottery

A latte mug, a dainty tea cup, and a little espresso cup! Dried and loaded in the kiln. The plan is to fill the kiln by the end of the day tomorrow, bisque fire Thursday, then glaze and fire again on Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing how the glaze turns out.
