The call was put out for help in my youngest daughter's class. They needed wipes for their personal white boards. One morning's work and they are all set :)

Another SUPER cute waterproof placemat for the kiddo's lunch bag. Easy to wipe clean and it keeps their food off of their desks! I will post pictures of my available fabrics for the placemats AND snack bags. (Snack bags are also good for used masks ;) )

Good evening everyone! I went out and did some fabric shopping! Lots of new options available for kids masks $8, adult masks $10 and scrub caps (1for $20, 2for $35, 3 for $50 and $15 each after that) I will be taking orders for masks and caps now to be started when I get home from camping on July27th. First come, first served on fabric choices. If you want your chance to get in line with an order, please send me a message or comment below and I will get you on the list! Please remember I won't be STARTING your order for another week. Pick up or free shipping available. I know a lot of municipalities are starting to make masks mandatory so don't wait too long.

I know one mama that is ON THE BALL! She just ordered 2 placemats for school lunches next year! Double sided, waterproof, easy to wipe and a quick wash in the sink or laundry and you are ready to go for the next day! Keep the kiddos food and snacks off their germ-y table tops at school!

Good news!!!! Summer is happening!!!! Campsites are booked and cottage plans have been made and I couldn't be happier! I have been working nonstop since this pandemic started at my adult job and sewing every day that I'm home. Frankly, I am EXHAUSTED! I am so thankful for everyone's support during these tough times and I truly enjoy helping you out and keeping you safe We live for summer time and it will be the perfect chance to recharge my batteries! ... So having said that, I am absolutely still sewing and still taking orders BUT it won't be the super quick turnover that you have come to know and love. Feel free to send me your requests and I will give you a 100% honest timeline to make your items. I understand this may mean you have to shop elsewhere and I totally understand. Hopefully we will be able to coordinate our timing. So, please get your orders in early to be sure we all have enough time to get things done. Have a super fantastic rest of your weekend. Please read. Just a little housekeeping on the elastic ear masks. The elastics on the face masks do not respond well to repeated use of heat (just think bathing suits or underwear). Elastic will break down over time. Thankfully, this virus is easily broken down with soap! So washing in the washing machine and then laying flat to dry is the best way to keep your mask for a very long time! :) What happens if you have a quick turnover and no laundry to do? Warm soapy water in the kitchen sink will also break down the virus! Just be sure to rinse well so that you dont get any irritation on your face. If you need to dry quickly, you can use an iron on the cotton part as long as you do not iron the elastic! Hope that helps everyone! :)

***eta*** holy crow you guys! I am going to put a small pause on orders while I cut masks and make sure I still have enough of all the prints you guys want! New prints for masks and scrub caps now available!!! Also found some ELASTIC today! Crazy right??? It's a pandemic miracle! So you now have the option of masks with ties or elastic ear loops! I will update the fabric choices available in the comments

I have these throw sized quilts (42*60) ready to go! I also have this print in grey and aqua to be made and one of the "adventure awaits quilt" in the throw size as well. $150 each Also there are matching pillows!! 18x18inch and available with or without pillow insert (hand zipper for easy cleaning) $25 with, $15 without.

The sun is shining and I am fully caffeinated! Lots of sewing to do today! All mailing orders will be complete and sent out today! I am hoping to have all pick up orders completed by end of day tomorrow. Then a handful of scrub caps to make for some amazing Brant medics!

The time has come where that I relent and offer cotton face masks. Some stores are now requiring them for entry and they have now been recommended by our government to prevent breathing "moistly". I will be offering this small selection of fabrics that are available in a first come first serve basis. I have adult sizing for $10 and children for $8. I am happy to provide porch pick up or drop into the mail for free. Just a friendly reminder that these are not medical grade mas...ks. They will not prevent transmission but they will decrease the chances. They can be laundered with your clothes or washed in the sink with warm water and dish soap and then ironed. Worked on my first scrub cap today! It's kinda hard to see because we are only allowed navy at work but I will try some fun patterns as well! Works both with and without a pony!

I timed myself to see how long it takes me to iron and sew a face mask. In reality this is how long it took me to iron and sew a facemask AND help with grade 1 homework
