Extremely sad to share this news.

Well it's been two full weeks since we have shut down but I'm pretty confident with the current situation our alert level will not be changing. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update you when we have an update. All championship and event dates will be moved based on the number of weeks we are shut down. The main thing is that everyone stays safe and healthy. This week we will send out a number of posts and updates with our schedules. Stay tuned and keep informed with the Governments updates!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: As you are all aware, there is an outbreak of Covid-19 in our province. As per the government regulations we will be postponing ALL league play for CPA-NL East. As of now, we will push the schedules ahead two weeks and we will start where we left off once it is safe to reopen. We will have an update for you on Monday, February 22nd. The means our MVP Tournament on Feb 20th & 21st will be re-scheduled for a later date. ... This also means their will be a schedule change for all future championship events such as the 8B/9B Singles Regionals, 8B/9B Doubles Championships, 8B/9B World Qualifiers, etc. More information will be provided in two weeks. We will have an official update today shortly after the Government briefing at 3:30pm is completed. Please note: Our Host Locations in the St. John's Metro Region are closed for two weeks.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the current Covid-19 situation in Eastern Newfoundland the CPA-NL East Pool League will be postponing ALL league play for tonight, Monday 02/08/21, and Tuesday 02/09/21. We will re-evaluate and send out an update to all members on Wednesday 02/10/21. Stay Home & Stay Safe. Skill Levels will change for some players between now and then. In February you will all receive a package from National Office which will provide all the details about the event and list your starting skill level!!

Singles this weekend at West Side Charlies, Kenmount Road! HELP!!! We have a very small number of lower skill level players (2s & 3s) showing up for our qualifiers and we have over 140 players (2s & 3s) who are active in our league and eligible to play. Why aren't they showing.... because most are new, most don't understand the value, and most are not educated on how our singles program works. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Word of mouth is the best form of communication & education. Please chat with your friends, those who play on your team, in your division, etc. and educate them on this awesome opportunity!
