Rotary's Support for the Community During the Pandemic Under the current difficult conditions, with the COVID-19 pandemic affecting so many individuals and busi...nesses, the members of our club thought about what help we could provide for our community -- especially for our most vulnerable citizens. Hand Sanitizer -- We purchased 20 gallon jugs of hand sanitizer, which was generously discounted by Heretic Spirits in Collingwood, and delivered a case of four jugs to each of New Tecumseth's four retirement facilities and the Matthews House Hospice.

Dear Valued Clients Following the advice of Canada’s public health authorities regarding COVID-19, CPK Accounting, has reached the decision to close our Alliston offices effective Saturday March 21st at 2pm until approx. March 31, 2020. This is in effort to keep ourselves, families, clients and communities safe and healthy. Although we have had safety measures in place over the last few weeks, by keeping everything sanitized and limiting people to 1 at a time in the office, w...e are wondering if that is enough. In an effort to avoid service disruption, we will continue to work behind closed doors and accept client information/ tax files by email, fax, or through drop off through mail slot. I will still be answering phones, and emails and working on your Tax returns and efiling , We can still process your tax returns, by way of email for signatures and etransfer of funds, credit card or drop off payment through mail slot, and you can either pick up your file once we reopen or I can mail your file to you, or I can send you a PDF copy. Filing Season Deadline Extensions In order to provide greater flexibility to Canadians who may be experiencing hardships during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Canada Revenue Agency will defer the filing due date for the 2019 tax returns of individuals, including certain trusts. For individuals (other than trusts), the return filing due date will be deferred until June 1, 2020. However, the Agency encourages individuals who expect to receive benefits under the GSTC or the Canad...a Child Benefit not to delay the filing of their return to ensure their entitlements for the 2020-21 benefit year are properly determined. For trusts having a taxation year ending on December 31, 2019, the return filing due date will be deferred until May 1, 2020. The Canada Revenue Agency will allow all taxpayers to defer, until after August 31, 2020, the payment of any income tax amounts that become owing on or after today and before September 2020. This relief would apply to tax balances due, as well as instalments, under Part I of the Income Tax Act. No interest or penalties will accumulate on these amounts during this period.

WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS Attention: Clients We are taking the Coronavirus Prevention very seriously, we have these precautions in place to protect everyone - Please feel free to drop off your Tax Returns during office hours as usual. - Mail Slot is also available to drop off your Income Tax returns, if you choose, for added Protection.... - If you are a new client, you can use mail slot also, just make sure I have all your contact information, there are envelopes and pens by the door. - Hand Sanitizer is available in office and entrance - We also have a diffuser running with bacterial cleansing oils to help kill germs - We are wiping down chairs, table and debit machines & the Pens after use, with Lysol wipes - When you come to pick up & sign for your Taxes, there is only one person in office to serve you, which we would be approx. 3’ apart at all times - If you have a cold, please use mail slot.
