Documentary Film Screening Join us on Wednesday, March 21st in SJA room 128, from 1pm-3pm, for a screening of the documentary The Staging Post. The film follows two Afghan Hazara refugees, Muzafar and Khadim. While escaping to Australia the two are caught in that country’s stop the boats policy and are sent to a camp in Indonesia. In the face of immense personal struggles, and many years in limbo, they start a school that begins a revolution in refugee education. A real-life, real-time, multi-platform documentary, the Staging Post is about friendship, connection and the power of education and community. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Tahira Razai, whose story is featured in the film.
