TORIXO jewelry has been selected to participate in Showroom Canada, a digital experience, which brings together world-class Canadian fashion to a global audience of 200,000 retailers. TORIXO is admired for its fusion of the delicate and the strong. It’s a romantic contrast created by pressing vintage French lace into sterling silver and gold. Inspired by founder Tori Poynton’s global travels, every piece is hand-fashioned in her Pier 21 studio, Halifax, NS. "I feel so hono...red to have been selected for this global event that will put my designs in front of world-class retailers. I've been hammering away at my bench for over a decade and I am ready to show the world what TORIXO has to offer" The Toronto Fashion Incubator, through a partnership with the Government of Canada, is creating and launching Showroom Canada, a digital wholesale showroom for designers and the industry, on the JOOR platform. The initiative is being launched February 16 in partnership with the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Canadian Apparel Federation, bringing world-class fashion to a global audience of about 200,000 retailers. JOOR is one of the industry’s leading B2B wholesale platforms. The showroom’s 11 featured brands include: Freed, Furb Upcycled, Furious Fur, Joeffer Caoc, Kate Austin, Kuwalla Tee, Maison Marie Saint Pierre, Shelli Oh, Sid Neigum, TORI.XO, and UNTTLD. . . . . . #showroomcanada @Torontofashionincubator @CanadaintheUK @CanadaTrade @CdnHeritage @CanadianApparelFed @joor.co @craftnovascotia @novascotia @NS_CCH Creative Nova Scotia Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency torixojewelry SHOWROOM CANADA https://culturecanada.co.uk/showroom-canada

Publishing and Book Launch Peter Powning - A Retrospective, Now Available from Goose Lane Editions. New Brunswick artist Peter Powning is simultaneously referred to as a sculptor and a ceramist, but his art does not fit easy categorization, incorporating and combining elements from one medium into another. His work challenges the viewer to reconsider the object, its form, and its function. This inventiveness has resulted in numerous exhibitions, awards, and commissions for pu...blic art sculptures throughout Canada. https://gooselane.com/products/peter-powning-english-french
