Latest Updates Good afternoon campers & adventurers, We have recently been experiencing a very high volume of phone calls and emails regarding reservations. As the Ontario emergency order has been extended, and campgrounds remain on the non-essential list of businesses, please be advised, we are currently NOT open for overnight stays (RV/tent/rentals) until further notice. To stay up-to-date regarding reservation allowances, please check back on our website and click ...on "COVID-19 Update & Resort Information". We know many are itching to get back outdoors and enjoy the nature again, and we will provide communication once we have further directions from our governments. During these unprecedented times, we know all of our guests and seasonals would rather be camping and are itching to get outside again. Well, let us give you more to look forward to for when the time comes...cuz we too, are anxious to all be together again. Join us tomorrow, on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 6pm sharp, for our COVID-EO PREMIERE of last years filming of the resort. Gather the family, snuggle up on the couch, pitch a pretend tent and campfire in the living room, grab some popcorn if you wish - you may just find out your smiling face made the cut.

I bet everyone who is compelled to be at home and unable to work at home has all their spring cleaning done and is looking out at this beautiful sunny day! Happy cleaning and purging!

Wow, yet another day with not much new to report. We have another meeting tomorrow so I will be sure to fill you all in at some point during the day. I may even speck with some of you on the phone if you are calling to pay your fees.

Hi everyone. Not too much new to report today, however, I would like to let all of you know how much Russ and I have appreciated the way in which all of you are handling the Covid situation. We are giving you as much information as we can as quickly as we can and even though there have been questions, you have all been very courteous and understanding. We just want to say thank you so much for that. What a team we are!

As our governments and health officials continue to provide updates and measures regarding COVID-19; on Monday, March 23, 2020, our Ontario premier Doug Ford announced a province wide order for 14-day closure of all non-essential workplaces effective today 11:59pm Tuesday, March 24, 2020. It is our mission to uphold and protect the personal welfare of our guests, seasonals, and team members and thus further implementing our own essential measures to prevent the spread. Seas...onals/Guests will not have access to the resort or offices until April 8, 2020, at which time we will re-assess. Gates and/or entrances will be locked during this time. The team is working limited hours (phone hours from 10am-2pm daily), however the best form of communication is email. Please send any questions to [email protected] At this time, our resort is not open (Nov. 1 thru April 30), but we do anticipate an open date of May 1 as scheduled, unless otherwise advised. At this time, overnight daily/weekly reservations are not affected. We understand seasonals are making payments for their 2020 fees leading up to April 1 deadline, however, we will now only be taking payments via phone (519-599-3840) with credit card during specified hours, or by mailing a cheque. Contractors who are working for or on behalf of seasonals will not have access to the resort until April 8, 2020. We will be continuously monitoring further developments from our government and health officials to further assess measures and will continue to communicate via email and social media. We understand this is a difficult situation for all and we appreciate your help in contributing to our collective Craigleith well-being. Collectively, working together to stop the spread in our resort, our communities, our province and our country; in time, things will get better for all. We understand this will not happen over-night and will be a timely process, but we are hopeful for much brighter times ahead and a camping season we can all enjoy.

Hi everyone. I have just come from another web meeting with Sun. They are working around the clock to be sure that we have the information and tools we need to keep us safe while we try to carry on business as "unusual". Yes, unusual is the understatement, but we are trying our best to keep things as normal as possible. Please join our "Craigleith Team" to work together to get all of through this tough time. As a team well come out on top and be ready to open and enjoy our sites on May 1/20. See you all soon even if it will be from a distance!

The notices from Sun regarding closures at this time do not accurately reflect the Canadian parks. Because we are not actually open until May 1/20, the current notices do not really apply to us. Having said that, however, there are some precautions being put into place that we need to share with you. Although the office will be open, we ask that guests do not come in person to remit park fees due April 1/20. Making payment arrangements by phone or email is a good alternativ...e. If it is necessary to come to the office, please make an appointment so that we have only one guest in the office at a time, as per our current company restriction policy. We are still planning for our May 1/20 opening, but the situation will be reassessed closer to opening as we do not yet know what measures will or will not be in place when the time comes. Fingers crossed we will weather this storm and keep all of our guests healthy until we open. See more
