What a day it was this past Sunday! I recorded the Christmas Eve Service. It took 7 hours! That is one long sermon! Lol Actually, it was in effort to adhere t...o all restrictions so the service was recorded in 6 sections. I have listened and watched as my wonderful Videographer and editor AKA BEST son ever, has taken each piece and patched them beautifully together to form our Christmas worship. Everyone is welcome to join us, the link will be made available by 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, December 24th! So many blessings this past week. And as I was leaving the Church after recording, there waiting for me was a huge box filled with beautiful gifts and baking from the Community. Very humbling and so appreciated. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. I had not done any baking yet, and Josh and I both were so thankful for this generous gifts! I feel very blessed. PS. The guitar sounded amazing! Good Morning Everyone! Happy 3rd Sunday in Advent! Please find below the link to this morning's worship service. Thank you for joining me! Upon reviewing the ...service I discovered an error! The opening slide is the "love" Candle, which is next week. Today we are Celebrating The Candle Of Joy! I watch these services a number of times while editing and I did not notice this until I was preparing to email it out! So please, in your mind's picture JOY! :) I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart, for all the kind emails and feedback. Preparing and preaching online is so much different than in person. I truly appreciate all of your encouragement and gratitude. I am very honored to be welcomed into your homes each Sunday! For those of you who are joining us for the first time, I want to explain a little character who you will see at the end of the closing credits. One of the questions I received this past week from a number of you, was "where was the rabbit?" I am very blessed to have my son Joshua working with me. He does all the recording, editing and then the formatting so the services are delivered to where they need to be. My first service that I ever did online was the Easter Service back in April. He had a rabbit at the end of the service dancing to the music. This then became his trademark and enjoyed by many. We decided not to have the rabbit last week, but it appears many of you look forward to seeing him at the end of each Service. So yes, he will be making his appearance once again. This is an example of what today's message is all about. Finding joy in the smallest of things. Thank you for finding the joy! Hello Everyone! On Sunday, December 20, 2020 we will celebrate the 4th Sunday in Advent and we light the Candle of Love. As part of our service we will include what is traditionally known as a Blue Christmas Service. What is Blue Christmas?"The holidays can be a difficult time for anyone who has suffered loss or hurt. In addition to Celebrating the 4th Sunday in Advent, this service will offer a sense of comfort, it is a way we can recognize the depth of the season and h...elp process those negative feelings that might be held within during the holidays. By doing so, we can all celebrate more fully, knowing we have acknowledged those who are no longer with us or any hurt we may be carrying. And we will do all of this in the name of love! If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, and would like their name uplifted during this very special service, please send me their name by Sunday, December 13th as I will be recording this service early next week. Their name will be spoken and a candle lit in memory. Since this service is online, in addition to providing their name also feel free to provide a photo if you so wish.
