We are still taking safety precautions for COVID-19 very seriously. -When you arrive please STAY in your vehicle, call the clinic as we have screening questions before you enter the building. You will be further instructed from there. -If you don’t get through on the first call please just try again, we have 4 lines always ringing but sometimes we don’t have enough people to answer right away.... -If you don’t have a cellphone please come to the front door and we will further instruct you from there. -Masks must be worn when entering the building. -Only * 1 * family member may enter with the pet. -If your pet is here for a SPLIT (a vaccine appointment that has been split off from your annual)we will only be allowing the pet to come in to control the traffic entering the building. Please be patient with us, we are doing our best, things take longer with all the extra cleaning and safety protocols in place.

Have you ever lost your pet and had no way to find them? Has anyone ever spoken to you about microchipping? This is a simple procedure that can be done at any time... -We use a needle that has the microchip inside and we insert it under the skin just between your pet’s shoulders. -This can be done while your animal is in surgery or even in appointment times! -Once this microchip number is registered, if your pet escapes and gets picked up, a vet clinic, humane society, or most rescues can scan your dog or cat to see if they have a microchip. Once they receive that microchip number they call the company and get your information! This is a very easy/inexpensive way to help your pet get home safely Any questions about microchipping? Ask us today!

Since a lot of clients may not have gotten to know everyone that works at Cranberry Hill, we are going to introduce ourselves again! First up one of our RVT’s Meghan! Hello my name is Meghan and I am one of the RVTs at Cranberry Hill! I graduated from St. Lawrence College and have been an RVT for 3 years but I have worked at Cranberry for 6 years. Growing up my family brought our Bernese Mountain Dogs to Dr Kelly and I knew I always wanted to work at her practice. I now hav...e my own Berner, Billie, and a little dachshund named Milo. I am passionate about client education and enjoy expanding my knowledge on nutrition, reproduction and diagnostics. At home I am busy farming and raising a small herd of Angus cattle and a few chickens! I am a sucker for antiques and all things home decor. Everyone say HI to Meghan!!

Have a new 4 legged family member? Congratulations! This is such a huge milestone for your family. Pets can really bring a huge meaning to our day to day lives and often are the best parts. You’ll often hear your veterinary team or see posts online about socializing your puppy. The typical thoughts that come into our he...Continue reading
