Hello Friends of the CWRC In this week’s Women’s group Megan and Brit will be focusing on meal planning on a budget. We’ll discuss where are the best places to get good deals on food, and even trying to find ways to use those little bits that often end up the garbage. We will have some recipes to take home and we’ll have some delicious chili and cinnamon bread made in the crockpot for you to enjoy! Hello Everyone, Here it is!!!! The new poster for the Women Being Social and Connected group. The next groups until Christmas are going to be epic!!!! We are welcoming Chef Steve from the College of the Rockies back for another great presentation: Meal on a budget. Then we will have knitting and wreath making classes the following weeks where you will learn to make personalized gifts for your loved ones. Then on December 15th we will be hosting a Christmas party that will include a yummy traditional Christmas dinner as well as free family photos and gifts ;) Drop ins are welcome but there is a limited amount of spots available so call Candi and reserve your spot today! 1-250-426-2976 ext 1 As always, much love from the CWRC <3

Hello friends of the CWRC! We had a pretty successful 1st Women Being Social and Connected women's group on Tuesday this week. We discussed the need for groups like this to help reduce isolation during these trying times. We also came up with some really great ideas for activities to do over conversation in the coming weeks. Our space is big enough to properly socially distance so we hope to see more ladies out. Next group is Tuesday, November 10th from 4-6pm. ... We will be welcoming Chef Steve from the Collage of the Rockies. He will be teaching some basic cooking and knife skills while us gals get to eat some treats! Group is held in the old Bellies to Babies space. Please come around the right side of our building (by Core Fitness) and through the back fence. there will be a sign on the door. Space is limited due to Covid regulations and to properly social distance so please call the number on the poster below to reserve your spot.

Hello friends of the Cranbrook Women's Resource Center. As you all know we have been taking part in a research project called Period Promise that provides free menstrual products for people in need. We still have lots of products available to give out so if you are in need please reach out to us. Also, Period Project has put together a survey. New hours are (9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm) Our procedures for Covid-19 are the same. We are screening at our entrance to ensure the health and safety of our staff and clients.
