Can’t wait to hear you guys perform again at Locals. Happy Holidays
This certainly sums the year. Stay safe everyone.
Since opening night we have discovered the possibility of Standby Ticket sales. Due to Covid we have a new cancellation and seating policy and sometimes seats w...ill become available last minute meaning a sold out show is no longer sold out! Before every performance there will be the opportunity to check in with the Front of House volunteer at the main door to fill these spots. Each patron will need exact cash ($20 or $17 for members) or, once it’s confirmed, online with their phone. Unfortunately, there will be no way of announcing in advance or having a call list.
Our amazing lighting tech. Beth getting some stage lighting pointers.
Locals Coffeehouse has decided to cancel the upcoming 2020/2021 Season. At this uncertain time we fell we needed to be socially responsible and cancel the season. We just can't ask our patrons to gather and feel safe. It has been a difficult decision and not one we take lightly. Covid-19 has made it difficult for performers to get together and play music, recite poetry and brainstorm new ideas. So please hang in there....we will be back! On a side note the Locals Commi...ttee, pictured here wearing "Locals masks', have decided to donate last years profits from out SOLD OUT season to the Cranbrook Community Theater and the Studio Stage Door. We know they will put the $3,000. to good use!!! We love the old building and with that comes updates, upgrades and conservation. We also want to thank 'the best audiences' in the area for your support and hope you will once again, soon, be able to attend this wonderful long standing show "Locals". Thank you :) Photo: Back left to right Steve Lungal (Potluck Steve), Doug Crawley, Lorraine Hagel, Leslie Stevens, Stacy Oig, Beth Crawley. Some of you will remember when these guys took the stage at Locals and blew us all away. So awesome that the Doggone Brothers are still making beautiful music together. GO like their page to see more.
