Jeremy’s latest work on our Classic Rock Choir video - More than a Feelin’ by Boston. Cathy chose this song for our choir a couple years ago and we finally ...got to it this past spring. She has been involved in our music school for 12 years. Both her daughters studied singing with me (each for 10 years) and she joined the fun when the choir started 5 years ago. Dad was the BIGGEST fan! What made Rob so special was that he was not just the biggest fan of his own family on stage, but for every single student after every single performance. He really took to heart the concept of the "Harmony House family" and became genuinely excited for every development of the entire music school. He volunteered his time to be the videographer for every single performance over those 12 years (that’s like 48+ performances - 3 hours per concert at least!) And he would never take money or even accept a discount in his family’s lessons. He was just such a believer in music and live performance and he truly loved every minute of watching and listening. You can often hear him shouting out OH YEAH! as the applause begins on the videos. His enthusiasm was such a gift to anyone in earshot. And he always made a point of seeking out performers after the concert and letting them know he was moved by their performance. Rob suffered a stroke in March and passed away a few days later. It was such a shock and we are sad that the Harmony House Community cannot celebrate his life and support his family in person, so this was our effort to honour Rob. New 6 Week series starts this Friday 10:30 - noon You’ll enjoy the feeling of singing with others in your own h...ome as Sandi uses a multi-voice looper to create layers of her voice, including teaching you beautiful harmonies! We sing traditional and contemporary songs after 45 minutes of yoga practice focused on opening the bodymind. PERFECT FOT YOGA TEACHERS who want to strengthen their singing knowledge & skills, and PERFECT FOR SINGERS who want to learn which yoga poses best prepare the body for maximum resonance. PRANAYAMA (breathing practice) serves both disciplines. LEAVE EACH CLASS with your heart full of Joy Sandi Melody has been teaching voice for 27 years and practicing yoga for 35. She recently became certified as an Advanced Teacher of Therapeutic Yoga with Ajna Yoga College.
