Lohri is a celebration of the harvest, celebrating the days getting longer, an end to the cold winter, and new beginnings. This celebration looks a lot different this year. The spirit of Lohri is honouring the farmers.. and those farmers are peacefully protesting on the cold streets of Delhi. When they should be celebrating on their fields.. they are actually sleeping on the streets. They are simply fighting for their rights against unjust laws. They have shown so much r...esilience that I am so proud of. In the spirit of trying to find snippets of joy in a challenging start to 2021, I encourage you to find ways to take care of your mental health. We cannot pour from an empty cup. Colouring brings my heart joy, and that is why I enjoy providing you and your kiddos with colouring sheets. & the start of 2021 is the same.. but, curious how you feel: Do you think you’ll just stop wearing masks? Stop wiping your groceries? Limit your outings? This pandemic really opened my eyes to how we interact with the world. I even notice my daughter ask to go back home when we’re out for walks.. will we ever go back to normal? These are things that have been on my mind and curious if I’m the only one

Wherever you are My heart will be there first I counted the seconds Then hours... Then days Then weeks.. And now, we’re almost approaching a month.. Without your presence. Without your comfort. Without your warmth. Saying that I miss you would be an understatement. My stomach aches My heart sinks & I am left speechless just thinking about this new reality. Mom, I love you. Forever, and a day. may you always watch over us, with your beautiful everlasting smile We’ve been temporarily closed, and a reopen date will be released soon. Thank you for understanding our closure, and being patient with me while I spent time with my family during this unexpected, and hardest part of our lives

2020. Dragged on yet flew by.

a little upside to reminisce this rollercoaster of a year We didn’t do a full out shabang reopening as I originally planned to stagger it with @mypunjabiroots ..but, then decided on a soft opening and you all showed up soooo, I didn’t think releasing more on here would have worked out. So, here I am. Behind on posting but beyond grateful for you all ..we can still offer pickup in #yyj but shipping deadlines would probably not make it for Christmas!
