Instead of a little neighbourhood library, a little seed swap and share greenhouse for building community resilience and growth

BIPOC have always been at the forefront of environmental movements, so here is a tree standing up in reciprocation I was really scared of being a performative ally; I realise that on my social media, I’m in a bubble. In this bubble, of course we all aim to be anti-rascist, and for me the idea of posting a black square made me feel like I would have just been doing it to rid my own conscience of guilt, but not truly taking action.... I’ve never really before involved myself in much social-justice work as I’ve always pursued taking a stand for nature with my art. But I’m learning all the time. And we are all connected, with all these issues. So as I usually express myself by making an art installation with trees to express a message, here is a new one! (I also put it up specifically in a mostly white upper middle class neighbourhood.) Sending love and standing with you #blacklivesmatter #treeprotest
