Como algunos de ustedes saben, Fernando Vásquez falleció el 30 de julio del 2014 a la temprana edad de 5 años y medio, perdimos la batalla contra el Cáncer. Des...pués de su partida, decidimos crear un grupo para honrar su memoria. Este grupo fue fundado con el objetivo de ayudar a los niños con cáncer, niños y ancianos en situaciones de vulnerabilidad en los países del Tercer Mundo. Cada año nos dedicamos a hacer recaudaciones de fondos, normalmente vendemos alimentos y seleccionamos un proyecto para apoyar. En esta ocasión, no podremos hacer nuestras recaudaciones de fondos regulares debido a COVID. Sin embargo; no podíamos terminar el año sin trabajar en un proyecto para honrar la memoria de Fernando. Este año negocios de nuestra Comunidad se han unido a nuestra causa y han donado, certificados , productos o servicios que ofrecen. Asi podremos continuar nuestros proyectos y honrar la memoria de Fernando. Estaremos vendiendo tickets para una rifa y todas las ganancias serán utilizadas para el Proyecto "CONSTRUYENDO CON AMOR". La Sra. Vilma Hayden Alvarado vive en el cantón Conacaste, Ciudad Arce, El Salvador. Es madre de cinco Niños, incluyendo trillizas que acaban de cumplir un año. Su Esposo falleció en Marzo de este año de COVID, dejándola sola con sus cinco hijos. Vive en condiciones en las que ningún ser humano debería vivir. Well Christmas is around the corner. 2020 has hit all of us hard. But to anyone who is still standing it’s a good time to be thankful and still give back what y...ou can. I am trying to put together some back packs (filled with essentials) and meals some of our less fortunate members of the community. 11 people at the Victoria motel. Medical shelter 16 people at the nights inn. Medical shelter 120 people waterloo inn. House of friendship has been moved there. 80 people in a transition shelter on university. 34 people at roof youth shelter That’s 261 people before counting the people that are not eligible or are waiting on beds. I’m aiming to get 300 back packs filled with: socks, underwear, tooth brushes, hygiene products, hats, scarfs, gloves, or anything you would find helpful if you were stuck in the cold. Roof is also in need of money to keep there streets to education and employment program afloat. Hemlock will make as many meals as needed but is hopeful some other restaurants will get involved.
