First day of our Millarville Christmas market is behind us...definitely different feeling than other years...customers support was so greatly appreciated by everyone...it was so nice to see familiar faces...it actually felt good to be able to interact with customers, of course as much as possible with all the virus rules and regulations...and tickets for the next 3 days are all sold out...awesome

A fully blown winter drive today through the mountains today, almost 450 km of snow cover roads! It was not pretty ... I’m definitely not winter ready yet

Again I’m not a happy camper today... so sad For the past many many years today was always the day that I was starting my fall/Xmas show season and it was always my annual drive trough the prairies to attend Sunflowers craft show in Yorkton Saskatchewan and than Homespun craft show in Carlyle Saskatchewan Always the great shows for us, awesome supportive customers , great organizers , and specially all my fellow artists which are like my second family I’m definitely m...issing all of it and more It’s hard to even put in words how disappointing this year has been, how hard it is to see people on daily basis, being scared and panicky from all the bad media news coverage and governments not willing to help people and dragging the economy down the drain I wish for a magic wand or some magic sparkle that I could use and made everything better... Anyway tomorrow is another day... it will be better I hope but for now...sad See more

A while back I saw a rare blue heart lily...it was gorgeous... it was an inspiration to make our own set of blue lilies...I was surprised how quickly it found a new home with one of our loyal customers

Yesterday was another road trip trough the mountains, looked more like beginning of winter season thou not mid of July... the snow is lovely but it reminded me that we’re going towards winter now.....where is the summer? Did a quick stop at the deMills Artisian Market and refilled shelves...left more lovely flowers and birds for customers to buy

Finally some good news...DeMills Artisian Gift Shop in Salmon Arm BC is opening on June 6th and we will be again selling our garden art there...we’re so grateful for the opportunity...please come and visit us...
