PERMABOIS Engineered floors are made with real sawn hardwood top layer on a birch baltic multiply plywood. The biggest advantage of this product is certainly the stability. The risk of creaking noises is reduced thanks to the firm take of the mortise-tenon combination (click-type tongue & groove). The sides of each plank (tenon) are oiled, which eliminates the undesirable colour-variation effect created by the spaces between planks that occur with changes in humidity insi...de the home. Top layer: 2mm or 3mm sawn Hardwood Bottom layer: 9mm or 12mm thick plywood comprising 7 layers. Installation: Glued or nailed down. Can be installed in basement. Radiant heat subfloor: accepted with glycol or water ONLY.

PERMABOIS OIL- SATURATED vs. UV PROTECTANT UV oil/protectant does not penetrate into wood. Instead, it bonds to the surface of the wood and forms a layer on top. Therefore scratches are much more noticeable, and your overall flooring will need to be refinished every 7 to 10 years to restore its surface. With PERMABOIS oil- saturated floors, the colour/protectant is penetrated deep into the wood. Therefore it won’t let scratches show!... Finished this beautiful project off this week. Steel mono stringers, Red oak treads and handrail. Glass with standoffs and a side mounted handrail makes this job look stunning! Did you spot our ghost wood product above the fireplace?? And that door at the top of the stairs, ya we made that too! Great job team!

We finished off this project and couldn't be more happier with the way it turned out. Steel Stringers, Stainless Steel Stand Off's with glass and side mounted handrail. The wood components are made of oak. Another great job team!!

The railing system and glass wall is finished! Awesome job guys!! *Steel stringers are not ours however, the treads are made and installed by us and we do offer white Steel stringers in a few different styles. Come to our showroom to see your options in steel stringer designs and colours.
