Snowy day on the trails amongst the towering pines. New walking place for me! Love it!

Enjoyed a walk in the #woods today with filtered sunlight and little feathered and furry friends. Have you ever seen an Evening Grosbeak? In my memory, I have not so this was a treat. Love their vibrant yellow feathers! Also making an appearance were Downy Woodpeckers, Chickadees, and cute Red Squirrels. Lots of lively flitting and scurrying about! @ Mer Bleue Conservation Area

Went for a drive yesterday and ended up on a road nearby that I rarely travel. The few times I've been on it, I don't recall ever seeing this cemetery. St. George's Anglican church, which doesn't appear to exist anymore, was opened in 1864 so I imagine this #cemetery is about the same age. Just love the old gate!

Late day sunshine. Although it was a chilly day here the sun was spectacular! I love the play of light and shadow as it gets lower toward the horizon.

It's birdsday! I was trying out my new camera today. Bought it for the zoom which was what my phone camera was seriously lacking. Although I still have to get used to it, I'm pretty pleased with the results. #birds @ Fletcher Wildlife Garden
