Happy Labour Day, everyone!! So, I realized it’s been an entire year since I posted last, so I figured it’s time!haha I guess I’ve got a bit of catching up to do!! The cool weather for labour day has me inside having a creative me day. I painted and updated the fireplace, made granola and homemade soup and now working on a painting.

Nothing like a furry friend to liven up a space!! He matches nicely with our decor and strikes a pose just like that!hahaha He even has to check out the night stand I’m painting...good thing the primer is dry! Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Creative spaces don’t need to just be limited to indoor spaces. Landscape design and enjoying the outdoors is great for mind, body and spirit. Hope you enjoy my outdoor space as much as I do! Happy Tuesday, everyone!!

It was such a pleasure working with the homeowner on this living room makeover. She was eager to help every step of the way. In only a few days, her and I took the space from dark & dreary to bright and airy. We stained pine tongue and groove boards to cover up where wall board was previously covering a damaged wall, painted the ceiling white and the walls a warm grey. We also put up new trim boards and re-vamped & painted the tired looking built-in shelving unit. I helped her pick out a gorgeous new, lush area rug & beautiful white curtains. We also ordered a cool new floor lamp, which hasn’t arrived yet. It was such a fun & fulfilling makeover, and was a joy working with the homeowner and teaching her a few tips on painting, cutting boards, etc. Thanks again, Myrna, for trusting me with your beautiful home!!!
