Yesterday was a remarkable day as we celebrated putting the first stake in the ground of the Credit Valley Trail (CVT)! Thank you to our amazing partners who made this possible. The trail was first envisioned in 1956 and is a 100 km pathway along the banks of the river, from the headwaters in Town of Orangeville to Lake Ontario in Port Credit. Planning to create and connect the 100km Credit Valley Trail (CVT) continues! CVT project leads have kept busy this Fall, working virtually with the many CVT partners and, scoping out sections of the future CVT route - stopping to take in some of the gorgeous Autumn views found along the path. Exciting news about the CVT coming soon - stay tuned!

This #ThankYouThursday, we would like to express our gratitude to our donors and supporters that helped us contribute more than $1.7 Million to Credit Valley Co...nservation (CVC) projects and programs in 2019. You helped CVC acquire 44 acres of new conservation land, advance the vision of the 100 km Credit Valley Trail, work with Indigenous partners, restore and protect critical habitat, construct a natural playground at Island Lake and cultivate environmental leadership through the Conservation Youth Corps. Thank you for making this happen and for your investment in a thriving environment that protects, connects and sustains us.
