Update: Store hours are changing Thursday, March 26. 8 am- 9 am Senior hour, 9 am- 8 pm general public.
UPDATE TO PATIENTS: As the COVID-19 situation continuously unfolds we would like to keep the public updated with the most current recommendations from our provincial dental governing body and health officials. Until further notice, The College of Dental Surgeons BC has recommended that emergency dental procedures can only be treated by dental healthcare providers who are equipped with hospital grade Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent possible transmission of the ...virus. All non-essential and elective dental treatments are to remain suspended. Unfortunately, Creekside Dental is not equipped with the recommended N95 masks or equivalent full body protection to ensure the safety of our patients and team. As many already know, these specialized masks and gowns are in short supply and have been rightfully allocated to BC's frontline hospital healthcare workers. We will continue to triage emergency phone calls as remotely as possible. The Dental College is currently working to update us with a list of possible surrounding regional dental offices with proper PPE to manage emergency dental treatment. We will make this list available as soon as we receive it. We thank everyone for their understanding during these challenging times. If you are in a severe dental emergency please call our emergency line at 604-967-2144. A doctor/staff member will return your call to best assess the situation. Sincerely, Creekside Dental
Take a moment, everyday, to reflect and be thankful for the simple things in life.
ATTENTION ALL PATIENTS: To date, our staff and doctors show no signs of COVID-19 infection. However, as health care providers, we feel it is important to follow public health recommendations to help prevent transmission in the community. The BC College of Dental Surgeons now recommends that all non-essential medical and dental treatment be postponed. We understand the impact of cancelled appointments, however, our priority has and always will be the safety and health of our p...atients, staff and community. For this reason, we are reinforcing social distancing as the most effective way to prevent viral transmission. Our doors will remained closed until further notice, however, we will continue to treat only patients who require URGENT CARE by appointment. If you have a dental emergency defined as oral-facial trauma, significant infection, and prolonged bleeding or pain which cannot be managed by over-the-counter medications, please call our emergency line at 604-967-2144 and leave a message. Our doctors/staff member will try their best to contact you and schedule an emergency appointment at our office. If you have had an appointment cancelled for the coming weeks, we will be in touch. QUESTIONS: I am in pain but it doesnt meet your definition of emergency -Please call 604-967-2144 and leave us a detailed message and a staff member/doctor will get back to you and try our best to assess the situation remotely. I have a dental emergency, but I am not your patient -We recommend that you try to contact your primary dentist first, as they will be more familiar with your medical and dental history. However, if you are unable to get in contact with them, we will be happy to do what we can to help. These are challenging and uncertain times. Let's take care of each other.
Due to the recent developments with the COVID-19 pandemic, our office will remain closed until further notice. If you are experiencing severe dental pain, please call our emergency line at 604-967-2144 and a doctor will call back as soon as timely possible to offer over the phone pain management. The health and safety of our patients, our team and our community is paramount. We will continue to keep up to date with our local and provincial health authorities regarding precaut...ionary measures. As well, we will do our best to communicate with our patients who have upcoming appointments if we may need to keep the office closed in further. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time. Stay safe, stay healthy.
