Haven't been on Facebook too much in the last year but here is something I've been working on that may be of interest.... Twenty tiny paintings to commemorate ...twenty years of living in the Creemore community and reflecting on the remarkable landscape that has informed my work in that time. I've combined those pieces with an unusual installation (on a much larger scale!) representing some of the objects and influences in my life and in my work. How have all these years of rural living impacted an artist who was raised in the city? Come to "Things We Take With Us, Things We Leave Behind" to find out. September 29th and 30th only. Station on the Green, Creemore, Ontario. A fun exhibit for anyone who has ever moved, looked back while heading forward, done a little bit of purging, and maybe even asked themselves.... "am I a hoarder?" (Please feel free to share this post with anyone that might relate!) (Many thanks to Purple Hills Arts and Heritage Society and Ontario Arts Council for their support of this project.) See more
These artists and artisans are getting ready for Sept 29-30! Mark your calendar!
