Crinkle Mingle by Sharie

So I recently made these delicious mini Apple Galette drizzled with some homemade Salted Caramel derived from Sally's Baking Addiction. It was one of our family's favorite. . (Sorry not for sale) . We love this because its very savory. It has this crispy and buttery crust topped with the sweet and tangy apple filling . The trick to making any fruit pies lies with the filling. Make sure not to include the juices otherwise it would make the pie crust soggy.

I have always been a fan of baked goods and sweet treats but baking was not something I was in to until I move here in Canada approx 10 years ago and I keep seeing these food network baking shows (*to be specific it was the amazing Chef Anna Olson ) Back then what I just really want to learn was how to make "chocolate crinkles" because I've always had a thing with choco crinkles yung nabibili sa bakery sa Pilipinas parang 2-3php pa lang ata ang isang crinkles noon. Then ...from there I started buying ingredients for different baked goods recipes. Then suddenly I just had a yearning for baking and I always want to try to make new baked goods (*not good to be around me when you're trying to loose weight tho haha ) . I had lots of baking trial and error for sure and I still do. I know I have more to learn on baking but that's what I love about it, because everytime you bake, you learn something new and that makes you grow as a baker. . Just keep trying different things and sooner or later you'll find what makes your soul happy. See more
