Campbell River Minor Baseball Assoc. (CRMBA)

Good evening members. As we are all well aware by now this Covid-19 pandemic is becoming an increasing cause for concern. With the announcement of the school closures today, it became obvious that baseball will have to follow suit just like many other recreational activities. We are following suit with BCABA and BCMBA and will be suspending the 2020 season until further notice. We will be working on refunding all accepted etransfers and cancelling the ones that haven’t been... accepted at this point, but please be patient it is a large process to ensure we don’t miss anyone. Should we have any further update we will let you know as soon as possible. I am quite saddened to bring this is information to you this evening, but it is imperative we do everything we can to keep our membership safe. Stay healthy everyone. Effective immediately Baseball BC has extended the suspension of all sanctioned in-person baseball activity indefinitely We at BC Minor Baseball are asking our member Associations to join us in supporting the notice received today from Baseball BC. and this today: British Columbia has announced a public health emergency due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. With so much uncertainty and pressure from our Health Authorities to limit social gathering, we're starting to see many of our municipalities closing public buildings and spaces, schools being closed in addition to businesses now taking more drastic steps to support the spread of the Covid-19 disease. Seeing such I believe the upcoming spring baseball season will be impacted significantly and that all member Associations should plan/prepare for a suspended/canceled season. WE NEED UMPIRES!!! Are you interested in becoming a CRMBA Umpire this season? ALL umpires must pay and register as an Umpire. The cost is $35 under the age of 14 and $65 for 14+. ... Whether you have umped in the past or are ready to start we have our Annual Umping Clinic coming up on March 7 at 8:30am at the Christian School. You will need to pack a lunch for this day as it’s a full day as well as please bring a notebook and something to write with. Please use the link below to sign up!
