Coast Gravity’s here, machines are here, construction begins tomorrow! We ask that you please respect the fence during the day while machines are running. Time to get the bikes ready.
Its been a long journey but we’re excited to announce it’s finally happening! Construction on the bike park is starting on Monday! We still need some help setting up fencing on Monday morning. Start time will be 10am. Social distancing rules will be in effect. Please let us know if you can help. Thank you to everyone who has supported the project over the years! This wouldn’t have happened without your support.
The park is open!!
Coast Gravity Creations have finished the construction portion of the project. All that is left is for the fencing and signage to be put in place before the park is rideable. Were working hard to have the park open up this weekend. Should have official word later in the week!
Looking for a couple volunteers for the day to help rake out the lines tomorrow. Trail building experience is a must. Steel toes, a hard hat and high vis vest are mandatory. If you have a rake and a flat head shovel please bring it as we only have a couple extra ones. Please send us a message if you can help out. Heres a couple photos of the process of the last week
Hi everyone, I’ve heard some mumblings about what the last phase of the bike park will be and what the money from the swicked promotion will be put towards! Below are the original concept plan and a new draft concept plan of the rest of the park! It will include drops, 4 jump lines including a dual slalom, a family area and skills zone. The park has been designed for progression with green, blue and black features. So far we have $100,000 from noon rotary, $20,000 from daybreak rotary, $5000 from fortis B.C., and $10,000 we,ve raised. Once the park is built the city of Campbell river will take it over to run and maintain. This is a community project that required so many to come together through, time, in kind, money and support! Thank you Campbell River for making this happen!
First week is almost in the books and the drop zone and expert line are starting to take shape. Come on by and watch the coast gravity park guys work their magic but please respect the fence!

So amazing to be apart of a community project supported and built by the community!
