Crocus Home Inspections

With recent increases in infections in the Brandon area we need to address some new measures and rules we are implementing. A) All parties: buyers, sellers and/or renters, realtor and inspector MUST provide to the realtor a signed Covid-19 disclosure declaration. The realtor can provide this to you. 1) Sick? Don’t come to meet in person. We can always do it remotely over the phone or FaceTime. We will not allow anyone to enter the home who appears ill. ... Edit to #1- if the sellers are awaiting Covid-19 results, we won’t schedule an inspection on the property until after all parties have a negative result back. if buyers are awaiting results: we can perform the inspection as long as an adequate amount of time has passed (3 days) since the tested individuals have entered the property, and sellers have been notified and have deep cleaned/sanitized the home. If negative results are available we can proceed otherwise we will review via telephone or FaceTime. 2) Please only bring yourself and one other person max. 3) social distancing and use of hand sanitizer are required and masks may soon follow if we continue to see increased numbers of COVID-19 4) We cannot enter multi family dwellings and units or businesses to inspect at this time. Going in and out of personal spaces and in between is too risky. 5) If current residents of the home or homeowners are sick: the inspection will not happen and can be cancelled until deemed safe to do so. 6) We request the home is vacant during the inspection. We will only have the inspector, the realtor, the client and one other person (partner/spouse/parent)present for the review portion. 7)Thank you for understanding we want to keep everyone safe and comfortable to enter personal spaces of others.

As we are now elevated to the Orange Level in our region, masks are mandatory in all public indoor spaces and outdoor gatherings. Although homes are not deemed public spaces, we will be asking all attending buyers, sellers, agents and ourselves to wear masks during any indoor communications. ***Prairie Mountain Health region has been elevated to the restricted level according to the #RestartMB Pandemic Response System. As of Monday, Aug. 24, masks will be mandatory in all public indoor places.***
