We were shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Fred Boyd on Monday November 30, 2020. Colleague doesn’t quite cover a man whose career spanned 43 years but Fred was a loyal, dedicated worker who never sought praise or attention, he was just content to do the very best job he could and he always succeeded. More than that, Fred was a good man, a good friend and a huge part of the Co-op and our community. There’s no one that met and talked to Fred that didn...’t leave him with a smile, a story and a memory. It is these moments and memories we’ll hold close to get us through the darkest of days ahead. We’d like to extend our heartfelt condolences to his beloved family. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers Grief is in two parts. The first is loss, the second is the remaking of life.
