Good morning soccer parents, After a successful AGM we have been able to move forward with soccer for the 2020 season. As a result registration is now open! Registration deadline is Friday, April 3, 2020. Please take note of the new volunteer section on the website and ensure you sign up for a task upon registration. One slot per family is required. Registration is on our website www.crossfieldsoccer.com... Days of the week to play as follows: U5/U9/U13/U17 Tue/Thu U7/U11/U15/U19 Mon/Wed While registering the website will allow your child into only the correct team based on birth year. At this time it can be assumed all teams will be co-ed. If we have enough registrations in any particular age group we can look at splitting it but we won't be able to discuss this until we have enough registrations. Returning parents, the website requires an access code you can have e-mailed to you. If you have any problems registering please don't hesitate to reach out. We had a successful meeting tonight so it looks like we will be going ahead with the 2020 season! We will be building the volunteer expectations throughout the next week or two so that it is easy for parents to see where they can volunteer. We would rather not cash anyone’s volunteer cheques and the season will run much more smoothly if everyone does their part. Please note, some new policies will be strictly enforced this year. Uniforms will NOT be handed out without a uniform deposit, and children will not be allowed on the field without the volunteer deposit. Volunteering will be tracked throughout the season to ensure everyone does their part, and our season can run smoothly without hiccups. Thank you to those who attended the meeting and I look forward to a fantastic season!
