I don’t do enough of these posts but it was such a great week! Had the opportunity to work with a group of new lifters including one returning after a bit of a... break (welcome back Andre!) We have a few that indicated they are going to participate in the A & R Memorial Online qualifier weightlifting comp so we are all looking forward to that! In preparation for the open I had a few members reaching out for some extra coaching for the oly lifts and I look forward to seeing some gains there ! To cap it off, I had a great session today with some of my youth lifters today including a big PR clean and Jerk for Noah today of 70KG (155lbs) at a weight of 61kg/134.6 lbs. Noah you’ve been working hard on that Jerk and it shows! A 10kg PR on your Jerk in about 5 weeks is unreal. Keep up the great work! Look forward to seeing what next week looks like!
