x If you saw my story yesterday, you saw a message from the recipient of this sweater . She is gifting it to a dear friend who is having their rainbow baby . That sort of story makes me mama heart soooo happy, and I’m lucky to be a teeny tiny part of that story ! Happy Sunday everyone! x

x Recycled sari silk? Yes please. This beautiful fibre is made from repurposed sari scraps, sewn and knotted together by women's collectives in India . The ends of sari garments, which would otherwise be wasted, are recuperated, cut, and connected. And not to mention so, so beautiful . Coming soon! x

x I shared a sneak peak of my new tags on my story, but I think they deserve a permanent post I had been eyeballing fabric tags for a while now, and not sure why it took me so long These two sweaters are ready to go and made out of super soft cotton yarn! x

x What is going on in the world right now is weighing heavy on my heart. I know that I don’t have the right or perfect words, but I can only try to speak from my heart. A world full of hatred and division is not what I want for our kids. I have always been of the mindset that we are all human and all deserve love and respect, but I will make sure to lift those that need it and are not being heard. I will make sure that my kids understand their actions and decisions affect ...others and they need to lead with love and compassion. I will do more research and learn from those who have stories to tell. I will not let my white privilege go to waste.
