Our goal is to provide the safest environment possible for both our clients and ourselves. We have set in place additional measures to achieve this. First we ask that you do not book, or please cancel your appointment if any of these apply to you: If you have traveled in the past 2 weeks.... If you have any of the following symptoms: Fever Cough Difficulty breathing Chills Fatigue Headache Sore throat Runny nose Stuffy or congested nose Lost sense of taste or smell Hoarse voice Difficulty swallowing Digestive issues (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach pain) If you are a young child or infant (sluggishness or lack of appetite) I will be required to comply with the same daily questionnaire. If either client or myself are unable to pass this basic COVID-19 screening the service will not be provided. I reserve the right to deny service at any time if I feel the service is unsafe or a potential health risk. Upon Arrival Please do not enter the salon until the start of your appointment time to reduce interactions between clients (you are welcome to wait outside while maintaining 2 metres physical distancing from others or in your vehicle) All clients as well as myself will be required to wear a clean disposable or reusable mask in the salon at all times (If you do not have a mask, we will gladly provide you one while supplies last) No other visitors will be permitted other than the individual receiving service. Physical distancing of 2 metres is required between other clients. Hand sanitizer and hand washing station are available to use upon arrival. Roster will be kept of anyone entering the salon for contact tracing purposes. All garbage bins are open faced to limit touch. Surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected with government approved cleaners for use against COVID-19 (May contain alcohol) Barbicide and Clippercide will be used to sterilize tools and equipment between clients. All material (capes, towels) will be removed between clients. Washroom will be open and surfaces will be cleaned periodically throughout the day. Thank you for supporting our small business!

My new pricing structure will simplify my service menu into the following categories: Haircuts: 30 Minute Haircut Service $25 1 Hour Luxury Haircut Service $50 Specialty Curly Haircut $45 + Chemical Services will be charged the following: $50/Working Hour + Product Used for services allowing double booking (will not charge for processing time) $50/Hour + Product Used for services that must be single booking only (colour corrections & requested 1 on 1 bookings will charge for processing time) Maintenance (1-2 Hours) Single & Double Bookings Half Head Refresh (2-3 Hours)Single & Double Bookings Full Head Refresh (3-4 Hours) Single & Double Bookings Transformation (4-16 Hours) Single Bookings Only I know change can be confusing so I will break down which category your services fall into at your next appointment, or you can reach out with any questions you have through text at (519)477-0839. Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health, Doctor Ian Arra, is giving notice of intent to Order the mandatory wearing of face coverings in enclosed public places. Th...e Order will be issued and coming into effect within the next 10 days as per consultation with stakeholders. Public Health has been in ongoing discussion with stakeholders in respect to the details and language of the Order. This will ensure the Order is appropriate and proportionate to the local needs and that it can be implemented in a manner that is practical, equitable, and does not infringe on the rights of people who cannot tolerate facial covering due to medical conditions. Accumulating epidemiological evidence indicates that the widespread use of Face Coverings in public decreases spread of respiratory droplets, and expert opinion supports the widespread use of face coverings to decrease transmission of COVID-19. Wearing of face coverings in enclosed public spaces further reduces the risk of transmission of COVID-19. says Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Ian Arra. It is of critical importance that the use of face coverings does not become a replacement to the current effective practices of physical distancing, handwashing, screening for symptoms among others. We came to the difficult decision that we must join our fellow community salon owners and close the salon until further notice to try to flatten the curve of Covid-19. ***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*** If you are currently using Deva Curl products please read carefully - if you are having any issues with hair loss, thinning hair or changing texture (losing curl) we strongly recommend that you stop using the products immediately. ... Stylist Stephanie Mero announced on ABC News yesterday that many complaints have been made against Deva Curl and she believes something about the product has changed and speculated that they may have changed the plastic packaging and the new plastic is either leaking chemicals into the product or being stored in hot places which may be causing chemicals to leak into the product resulting in a change of ph of the product becoming too alkaline and causing hair damage and hair loss. However we don't have any real answers yet. We are so sorry to all of you for this shocking and inconvenient news, we fell in love with Deva Curl 2 years ago when we saw the Curl Specialists working their magic at the ABA hair show and are so disappointed and heartbroken to hear about this unfortunate development. We will absolutely continue to offer specialty curly haircuts and curl coaching to all of our curly clients in the absence of the Deva Curl products and hope that whatever is happening with the products is resolved.
