The City of Calgary Fish Habitat Enhancement Program came about as compensation for the City's flood mitigation initiatives following the 2013 flood. The impact...ed on Bow River fish habitat across Calgary was recognized and a total of 5 fish habitat projects have either been completed, or will be started in 2021 to offset flood mitigation damage.
