We are back and ready for this months parenting seminar! The topic for April is Risk Taking! Risks are not only the ones we take that may result in an injury, but also the every day social and emotional risks we take. In this seminar we aim to explore the importance of risks, how to teach children about safe risk taking, how to help support an anxious child in taking a risk they may find scary (even if it is as simple as going to a first sleep over at grandmas), and help parents and caregivers feel more comfortable letting and supporting their children in taking risks. Hope to see you all there!!
