Meet Kristina LaCourse! Kris has been with us 9 months, in Customer Care for We Care and Order Desk. (When you call CRP, there’s a good chance she’s the one who answers your call.) Her background in retail, sales, business advising, and as an entrepreneur, allows her to relate with our consumers AND dealers, as she has been on both sides of the coin. She has been proven to be invaluable!! Kris is a proud mom of four, and married to Joel for 20 years, and will soon be a... GRANDMA. Wow! Fun fact: Kris grew up in the furniture business. Her parents owned a Teak Furniture Store in Quebec when she was little, then a small furniture manufacturing company in Mississauga. Her passion for furniture must run deep :) She is ALSO passionate about helping others and serving our community. She has run for City Council, in 2006 was named Woman of the Year for Business, and in 2008 she received the Business Excellence Award for Retail Excellence. Slate Grey is her favourite colour in the CRP collection, but according to her children, Turquoise seems to be a favourite accent colour. (They say it looks like turquoise has thrown up in my house! Haha, well said!) Being a Stratford local, it is exciting to work for a local company that makes a fabulous product line out of recycled plastics and that we are 100% Canadian. Today marks the first day of Autumn!! Who's ready? We are grounded in family values and committed to employee satisfaction and self-care in the workplace. Though this is an entry-level position, our company has seen amazing growth over these past few years, and with growth comes opportunity. Responsibilities and duties vary, but include extrusion and assembly of recycled plastic outdoor furniture. Previous experience in furniture assembly and using power and hand tools is an asset. An ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals are required.

Campfire season is suddenly upon us. Why not do it in style?

We were so pleased to be a part of such an important project in the place where we happen to reside. Stratford is a culturally-rich city in Southwestern Ontario Canada... and has thrived economically within the restaurant and theatre industries. COVID-19 has had a huge impact globally. And Stratford has not been made an exception. But thanks to the Economic Recovery Task Force, and an incredibly innovative and determined community, an initiative was started to help save... the restaurant industry from collapse. That's where we came in. We were commissioned to create fifty of our high-quality tables (20% new accessible design) so an outdoor dining experience could be created in the downtown market place and on Tom Patterson Island.
