Just want to send a big thank you to all my clients I’ve had to reschedule this week Sometimes life throws you a curveball and you need to adjust I know there are messages that need to be returned and I will start getting back to everyone next week. Just a reminder that the salon is closed the first full week of August as it is every year. After 6 - 69-70 hr work weeks I desperately need to recharge. Reopening Tuesday, August 11th. Any messages left will be returned that day. Thank you Happy Long Weekend

I, along with many other stylists have decided not to do blowdrys, and, if a dryer is used, it’s at a minimum. The reason behind this is to limit exposure time, sanitation, and the ability to try and accommodate as many clients as possible within the guidelines. We are all still at risk and if it’s that small a sacrifice to make, we ask that you please respect our choice. I do not want to have to shut down again. None of us want to. But this is just an example of what can happen when you rush into returning to normal. Dreading the day the border opens... we have done so well but this is only part of the journey. Stay vigilant , stay safe, and prioritize. Thank you to all who have respected my choice

Dear Clients, Please do not wait until the last minute for bookings. Depending on the services needed, some of you may be looking at a 4-6 week wait. The longer you wait to call, the further out the appointment will be. As of now, the last week of July is fully booked to capacity with the new measures in place and with overtime. Hey everyone! Just about to begin day 4 of a 12 hr day trying to catch everyone up.... everything is going smoothly except for a couple things. People are still calling wanting to be squeezed in.... I honestly wish I could help you, but you need to pre book. As much as I’d like to, working at this pace is not realistic. And .... I need to repeat this again....... ***We are NOT allowed to BLOWDRY, serve refreshments, offer magazines or have a lounge/seating area. ***Food is not permitted in the salon. You may bring with you a drink if you’d like. ***Sanitize upon arrival and once given your seat for your service, you must NOT walk around or explore the area. If product needs to be purchased, I will get it for you. I know it’s not what we’re use to.... but it’s what we need to do for now. Be glad that we’re open and your cuts and colors get to be done..... I know I am

It’s finally here!!! Opening at 10 today.... working and slowly returning calls as I go. Know that as always, I go by appointment only Sanitation stations are stationed at front and back door for your convenience and throughout the salon. ... Face Masks must be worn. If you do not have one, they will be provided for you. Gloves are NOT welcome. Sanitize hands immediately upon arrival. YOU MUST BE ON TIME!!! Failure to do so will result in a no show fee and you will have to reschedule. I can only do one client at a time. Cannot run late due to time needed to sanitize between appointments. The fee will be based on the time booked off. You must come alone. No bringing friends or children. The waiting area is no longer available. You will have your chair in which I’m doing your service alone. I get it.... not what we’re use to. But for a short time, we will do what we must. I am not allowed to serve coffee or drinks (hoping this ends soon) Bring your own if needed. No magazines are permitted as well. NO BLOWDRYS Trust me... I hear you. But for the time being these are the protocols we must follow. For the next few weeks I will be doing all I can to accommodate but you need to work with me. Stay safe and see you all soon

Officially given the green light to open following the 19th Over the next few days I will be going into the salon to check messages and start reorganizing and confirm bookings commencing next week. I will also be listing basic guidelines for those of you coming in over the weekend I kindly ask for a bit of patience as it will be a bit of a learning curve for all of us... As we still wait for an ok, I’m spending all my days (since the beginning) fielding calls for bookings and people wanting to know dates. Calling my cell will not help you. I’ll know what you know when we all watch the news together. Once the ok is given, I will be working from the beginning to fit in the most long awaited pre booked clients that were due in beginning since March and have patiently waited. I’m hoping within 2-4 weeks of catching up most of my clients will be ...back on their normal monthly schedules. I WILL NOT be taking any more bookings now. Was already pre booked with the majority for the year and still need to move what is there around to accommodate social distancing and sanitation. Once that is done I will be working with the WAIT LIST. None of this can happen until I officially get a start date. I WILL NOT be working 20 hours a day.... if I tell you there is no availability, it means that I am already booked for over 60 hours. I am 1 person. Take it up with the city.. 1 client every 2-4 hours for color, 1 an hour for just a cut (no blowdry) Anyone who persists on harassment thinking it’s only them, you’re wrong. As stylists we get over 20 it’s just me phone calls a week...I will not have an extra 40-50 hours a week to work. It is not just you. By doing this, we, as stylists, go through unnecessary stress and waste valuable time. Please don’t be that person. As always I will do everything I can.... but I’m only human..... burnout is real.... and it’s not easy getting use to wearing a mask all day when you get claustrophobic I will soon be posting rules that must be followed when entering that everyone must comply to plus revised business hours. Like always, I am an appointment only stylist..... thanking god daily that I’ve worked this way since the beginning We’re (hopefully) almost there.... just a little longer. As we’re all waiting for some sense of normalcy, many of you have called asking when we can begin working again. We had all assumed we’d have a general timeline at today’s briefing, yet all we were told was that we’d be opening in stages but not what professions nor when. Please try and be patient. As much as we’d all love to get back to work, safety is always the priority #stayhome #staysafe #staystrong

I know everyone is anxious to get back to normal, I know that you all want desperately to get your hair, nails and lashes done..... trust me when I tell you that I can’t wait till I can work as many hours as needed to get you all back on track. Dear Clients, Due to uncontrollable circumstances I will be closing this afternoon at 4:00 and remain closed until next week. Will not be in the country answering or returning calls. Reminding you all again that evenings and weekends book 2 weeks-2 months in advance and with the incredible amount of weddings next year it may be longer depending on the desired date. ... A waiting list is available. Cancellation/no-show fees are in effect. 48 hr notice is required to avoid this so I have time to refill your appointment time slot.
