Hello Monday! Let's start this week off right! A lot going on over here this week! A little bit like this;... - Regular busy work week! Typically Christmas week is a little slower so my family and I decided to renovate and old farmhouse and move during the holidays, but this Christmas was SO busy in Real Estate this year! Offers written on Christmas Eve and quick closings scheduled for January. Did I mention, I was in bed at 9pm on New Years? LOL - Packing the final bits of our current home - Officially moving Wednesday! - Oh, and HOMESCHOOLING - Lots of coffee obviously Embrace change. Adapt. Keep pushing forward. It’s officially winter!! Our family enjoys many of the outdoor activities-tobogganing, building snowmen, and hockey! And we also love the cozy feeling of coming inside to warm up with a nice hot chocolate too. Do what makes you the happiest during this season even if it’s counting the days until it’s warm again!

You don’t think of being a Mortgage Broker as a touchy-feely kind of job, but every now and then, I get the chance to be a small part of someone's story that I know I’ll remember forever Recently, I had such a sweet fellow mom call me in desperate need of my help. She was embarrassed by the situation she had gotten herself in with her existing mortgage and needed the guidance to sort through her options. We had 20 days to turn things around. Our initial phone call started... off with what seemed to her, an impossible situation. We discussed, we brainstormed, we came up with a plan. We both did our parts, acted quickly and we closed her new mortgage within that 20 days. I am so honoured that she trusted me to help and I'm so proud of how much she has embraced this as a new opportunity to start fresh in all sorts of ways...it's only up from here my darling! Elf on the Shelf! Seeing what that crazy elf is up to is so much fun for the kids!! On Christmas eve Jon, the kids and I spend the night-just the 4 of us, talking about our year, going through a years worth of photos-remembering all the fun things we did. We discuss goals and things we'd like to do the following year and cap the night off with putting out milk and cookies for Santa and watching christmas movies with hot chocolate. Once the kids go to bed, Jon and I panic wrap all the presents (a.k.a Jon Panic wraps all the presents bc I fall asleep LOL)
